Common questions and answers

What is BritBox?

BritBox is a unique subscription service that delivers authentic UK foods, sweets, snacks and surprises to members each month. Each month, a mix of 7-10 thoughtfully selected products are carefully packaged and delivered to your doorstep.

Where do the products come from?

All products are sourced from the UK. Put it this way, your Cadburys will be from Cadbury UK and not a Hershey's fake.

How much does it cost?

BritBox subscriptions are only $39 per month and that includes USPS Priority Mail delivery anywhere in the US.

How does the subscription work?

BritBox is a subscription service. We simply bill month to month so there is no large upfront expense. You can cancel at any time. It's our goal to make sure that you are so happy with your box each month that you won't want to leave us!

Can I buy a single box?

Yes! Visit 'The Shop' and you'll find options for one-time gift boxes and special seasonal BritBoxes. Our standard BritBox subscription is month-to-month, but you can cancel at any time. Another option is to give BritBox as a gift. You can select the 'gift' option at checkout and with gifts you have the option to have the subscription automatically renew or not.

When will I get my BritBox?

If you have ordered a one-time, specialty box, it will generally ship within 3 business days. You can get details on the page for the product that you have ordered. Orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail and tracking numbers are emailed once the product ships. Priority Mail generally takes 2-3 days within the US.

If you have ordered a BritBox subscription, the date you order will determine when you receive your first BritBox. If you order before the 17th of the month, you will be included in the next month's shipment. Monthly subscriptions ship at the beginning of each month by USPS Priority Mail so you'll likely receive it around the first week of the month depending where you live.

If you ordered a BritBox subscription after the 17th of the month, your subscription will begin in the next cycle. For example, if you order on September 24, your first subscription box will be the November box which will ship at the beginning of November. Occassionally we have available stock and we may reach out to see if you'd like to pull in your subscription date but the only way that we can guarantee delivery for the next month's subscription is if you order prior to the cut-off of the 17th of the month.

When will my credit card be billed?

You will be billed for your first month when you subscribe. Future months will be billed at the middle of the month before your next shipment. For example, if you are scheduled to renew for a box in December, it be billed on November 15. Gift cards and special one-time boxes are billed when ordered.

Can I give BritBox as a gift?

Yes, BritBox makes a great gift! You have two options. You can either 'Subscribe' and enter your lucky recipient's address or you can click 'Give a BritBox Gift Card' in the top menu to purchase a gift card for each month you wish to give your recipient. Gift card recipients will just need to 'Subscribe' and enter their shipping details so that we can deliver their BritBox(es).

Are there any special Terms of Service?

Yes, there are just a few.

BritBox accepts no responsibility or cost whatsoever if delivery of any product is delayed as a result of anything out of it's control; i.e. Act Of God, flood, fire, war, industrial action.

Dispatch and Delivery:
Delivery times are based on our couriers and are approximate. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept delivery.

Shipping Information:
BritBox will not ship full chocolate 'bars' between the months of May and September due to the California climate of where we are based. However, some items may have chocolate ingredients in or on them. We do our best to highlight on our boxes to avoid heat and/or sunlight, however we are not liable for chocolate melted during transport or when there is no one available to receive them. (Don't worry, we make up for the lack of chocolate come Winter time when we bring out our special BritBox ChocBoxes. **Usually available to order from September onwards.***

When and how are the boxes shipped?

Your first BritBox will ship on the next outgoing shipment - usually around the 2nd - 3rd of each month. After that, you'll receive your next BritBox approximately every 30 days. BritBoxes are sent by USPS with tracking.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is FREE with all of our subscriptions. And as a commitment to our loyal subscribers, it always will be.

Do you deliver outside of the United States?

No, we currently only ship within the United States to make sure that the products arrive quickly.

How do I redeem a BritBox Gift Card?

Congratulations! Someone must really appreciate you if you received a BritBox gift card! Redeeming your gift card is easy.

1) Click the 'Join Now' link in the menu above

2) Enter your subscriber information so that we know where to ship your BritBox

3) Enter your gift card code under the 'Total',  click 'Apply' then 'Checkout'.

What is your cancellation policy?

Monthly renewing subscriptions can be canceled at any time in your Account Settings (the page you see when you login at at the bottom of the 'Your Subscriptions' column on the left. Simply click 'Edit' and you'll have the option to cancel or change your address. If you’ve already been billed for this month’s box, your cancellation will take effect in the next billing cycle.

What is your refund policy?

Subscriptions, one-time purchases and gift cards are non-refundable. If anything is wrong with your order we'll make sure to make it right and gift cards never expire.

What if I forgot my password?

If you cannot recall your password, simply click 'Forgot Password' on the login screen. You'll be asked for your email address and an email will be sent with details on how to reset your password.
